Phoenix Rising: Renaissance Seniors Shine at Women of Tomorrow Celebration

At Renaissance High School, empowering young women to succeed isn’t just a goal—it’s a commitment in action. Through the Women of Tomorrow program, students are gaining the tools, confidence, and support they need to transform challenges into opportunities and build brighter futures.

Women of Tomorrow is dedicated to supporting teenage girls in public high schools by connecting them with accomplished professional women who serve as mentors. Through small group sessions held during the school day, students develop confidence, strengthen academic performance, and prepare for life beyond graduation. The program’s impact is far-reaching, equipping young women not only to succeed personally, but also to uplift their families and communities. With 64% of participants becoming the first in their families to attend college—and many earning acceptance into prestigious universities—the program continues to open doors and change lives.

On Monday, April 13, 2026, nine exceptional Renaissance seniors attended the Women of Tomorrow Senior Luncheon and Celebration at The Henry, Autograph Collection in Dearborn, Michigan. The event honored their dedication, perseverance, and achievements throughout their high school journey.

The students recognized included Justice H., Camryn M., Kassidy M., Dinah P., Sydni T., Anniah T., Alory T., Kylie T., and Kymiyah W.. Among these outstanding young women, five were awarded scholarships in recognition of their commitment and success:

  • Sydni T. – $2,500 (The Gilbert Family Foundation)

  • Kylie T. – $5,000 (The Gilbert Family Foundation)

  • Camryn M. – $6,000 (The Gilbert Family Foundation)

  • Kassidy M. – $7,000 (Rochester Christian University)

  • Anniah T. – $40,000 (Central Michigan University)

To qualify for these scholarships, students must demonstrate exceptional dedication, including at least three years of participation in the program, consistent attendance at mentoring sessions, and a commitment to graduating and pursuing higher education. Their achievements reflect not only academic excellence, but also resilience, leadership, and determination.

Congratulations to all of these remarkable young women for their hard work and accomplishments. Their success is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when mentorship meets opportunity. Monday was truly a great day to be a Phoenix! 🔥
